Alice - Dental Assistant
Alice has been Dr. Allen’s assistant since he established his practice. She has been an instrumental part of his success working by his side for many years. Alice is a certified dental assistant and dental radiographer. She has attended many continuing education seminars with Dr. Allen over the years from which she has implemented many techniques that have proven to be effective. Alice also works with our vendors and supply companies to keep the practice up to date with the latest materials and techniques available to our patients. Alice makes sure our patients are always taken care of and leave with a smile on their face.
Judi - Dental Hygienist
Judi was one of Dr. Allen’s first hygienists to join his team and has successfully treated many of our patients. Judi earned her Associates Degree in dental hygiene from Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene in Boston. Judi has attended numerous continuing education seminars over the years and brings to the practice expertise in her field. Judi has played a major role in the hygiene program at our practice and enjoys helping our patients continue to receive the care they deserve.
Lynn - Dental Hygienist
Lynn has been with Dr. Allen since the beginning of time! She says she started when she was “3” she was basically his first employee. She is known for her love of cats which shows in the theme of her treatment room. Lynn is a long standing member of the American Dental Hygienist Association and former past president of her local component. Lynn recently continued her education and is a 2013 graduate of St. Petersburg College where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. Lynn has played a key role for Dr. Allen over the years by building a healthy oral health foundation for our patients.
Judi K. - Insurance Coordinator
Judi started her 38+ year career as a certified and registered dental assistant in Michigan, which lead to her position at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. After a move to the front desk in St. Louis, MO she has settled in Ft. Myers and is not moving again! Judi’s vast experience within the clinical and business side of dentistry makes her a perfect fit to navigate through patient's insurance needs. Working to receive the best reimbursement for the patients is not just a job – it's an adventure!
Barbara - Appointment Coordinator
Barb is the newest addition to Dr. Allen’s team! She joined our practice in the summer of 2015. Barb has over 25 years of dental front desk experience working with general dentists and specialists. Barb moved to Florida from Massachusetts in 2013 along with her husband, two Labrador retrievers, and a Maine Coon cat! Barb is the first and the last face you see when you visit our practice. She enjoys greeting patients, making them feel welcome, and coordinating their dental appointments. She brings a new dimension to our practice with her joyful spirit!
